It was great to pop by to Centre 33 in Huntingdon just before the Easter break to find out more about the work they do and the services they provide supporting young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Their Huntingdon hub covers the whole of Huntingdonshire, but they also have locations in Peterborough, Ely, Wisbech and Cambridge.
The centre provides young people, up to the age of 25, somebody to talk to and help with regards to housing, sexual health (including STI testing, condoms and c-card), mental health & emotional wellbeing, pregnancy testing, money matters, food bank vouchers, job seeking, training & education and other topics. They’re also running a young carers project in Huntingdonshire for 8-year-olds upwards.
Centre 33 offer a drop-in service between 1-5pm on Tuesdays and on other days by appointment. Their services are free of charge.
You can find out more about how to contact them at their website below.
