Today is London Poppy Day.
At every train and tube station across Central London today you’ll see uniformed service personnel and veterans collecting for the Royal British Legion.
I was very proud to put in a shift this morning at London Fenchurch Street Station alongside my old regimental colleagues from the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment and The Royal Yorkshire Regiment. Thank you to all those who gave generously.
Please do donate to the RBL. Support to our veterans is vital, as is commemorating the sacrifice of those to whom we owe our freedom.
