Discussing the impact of the change to Employers' NICs on GP practices in Huntingdon

“Duncan Blake is a GP at the Priory Fields Practice in Huntingdon. I recently visited the practice and discussed some of the challenges that they currently face. He warned how the increase in National Insurance contributions and lowering the thresholds will only serve to undermine access and patient care, in addition to the significant financial pressures GP practices already face.”

Yesterday during the budget debate I had the opportunity to highlight how the proposed changes to Employers’ National Insurance stand to impact access and availability for our local GP surgeries.
