
Really pleased to attend the Hemingford Lawn Tennis Club opening of their three newly resurfaced, floodlit courts.
This has been a long time in the making, with floodlights first suggested in the clubs minutes as long ago as 1990!
This is a fantastic community asset and is part of the Hemingfords Sports Pavilion which also hosts some of the only squash courts in Cambridgeshire, bowls, football, cricket and of course tennis.
My thanks to Dean and to Chris for inviting me down to attend the opening, and also to Sandi Proctor, President of the LTA for officially cutting the ribbon.
