Really enjoyed popping along to Hinchingbrooke District Scout Group’s Big Summer Bash yesterday afternoon.
I fondly remember being a Scout myself, going in camps and earning my Chief Scout’s Award and it was fantastic to see boys and girls of all ages across the Scouting movement taking part in a range of activities. From bushcraft, to kayaking, to archery, air rifles and even axe-throwing, it was clearly a fun-packed afternoon of activity. The self-made cardboard canoe race was a particular highlight.
My thanks to Aidan for showing me round yesterday and I look forward to seeing the new Scout hut in Huntingdon take shape.
