APPG Flooding

Today I joined the All Party Parliamentary Group on Sustainable Flood and Drought Management.

This is a cross-parliamentary group that seeks to address some of the challenges facing constituencies that are prone to flooding. The APPG was well represented by those Cambridgeshire MPs badly affected by the recent flooding to the River Great Ouse as well as those further upstream in Bedfordshire.

I look forward to playing an active role in the APPG and working towards implementing solutions that will help to mitigate the impact that flooding continues to have across our towns and villages.
