It was great to welcome Kemi Badenoch to St Ives yesterday, campaigning for Paul Bristow for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mayoralty and for our County Council Candidates, Craig Smith and Martin Gill.
With Paul as Mayor we can finally have a full-time Mayor who doesn’t spend time doing a second job and is focused 100% on delivering for this region.
Craig and Martin will make fantastic local councillors. Both live in their respective divisions and so know well the challenges in St Ives, Wyton and Needingworth.
With postal votes having arrived last week voting has already started. Whoever you intend to vote for please make sure you do vote.
These elections really do matter if you want to see an improvement to local services and an end to the Labour-Lib Dem-Independent coalition running the County Council and a full-time Mayor you’ll actually see, then vote for Craig, vote for Martin and vote for Paul.
