Great to be invited to open Kimbolton’s new play park this morning.
The playground is located next to the Fire Station and Mandeville Hall and has a huge range of timber climbing frames including a “replica” of Kimbolton Castle and inclusive spaces for the children as well as a new veranda for parents. It’s a wonderful space that the whole village can share together.
Having good outdoor space, particularly play areas, in every village is such an important piece
of infrastructure, with too many of our villages lacking in the facilities that would attract young families to make their home there.
My thanks to Harriett Bradbury and Kimbolton Parish Council for their hard work in delivering the new playground and for the invitation to formally open it.
