Malcolm's Retreat - Supporting Those Affected by Cancer

It was great to be able to meet with Damien and James yesterday to hear about their charity The Malcolm Whales Foundation and also to visit Malcolm’s Retreat.

Malcolm’s Retreat is located at Rookery Waters and was completed in November 2024. The Lakeside Lodge allows the charity to offer free Respite Breaks for families affected by Cancer and Wellbeing Breaks for people who support those impacted by cancer.

The work they’ve done in creating the retreat, in addition to the £620,000 they’ve raised since starting the charity in 2009 is fantastic to see , in addition to their hugely popular annual Dorset Walk fundraiser along the Studland coast which now has hundreds of participants.
