Really productive round table this morning with St Ives Flood Action Group.
Hugely useful to discuss the flooding issues with local stakeholders across Cambridgeshire County Council Flood Risk Team, Huntingdonshire District Council, Anglian Water and the Environment Agency.
My biggest point was the need to identify all water infrastructure/assets across the area, mapped against stakeholder ownership so that we have a clear understanding where they all are and whose ownership they sit under.
My thanks to Hilary and to Mathew for setting up the session. I look forward to further sessions and bringing together representatives from the 11 other Flood Action Groups across the constituency to ensure best practice and knowledge is shared so that we can facilitate a joined-up flood response.
