A real honour today to be asked to recite the VE Day tribute at the Kimbolton VE Day commemoration at Mandeville Hall.
A fantastic event and one that very much brought the sacrifice home, giving some back story to those from Kimbolton who lost their lives during the Second World War, explaining who they were, where they went to school, the roads they lived on and the places in the village they worked.
Thank you to all those who contributed and made the occasion special, particularly to Deb Hellett for making the event happen.
