From the London Olympics to Britain’s Got Talent.
It was great to visit Le Mark Group and speak to Stuart and Linda about the business. Le Mark is a company whose products you will almost certainly have seen on TV without ever realising that they are behind it; Le Mark specialise in vinyl flooring, the likes of which you will have seen on stage in shows like Britain’s Got Talent. As mentioned at the start, they were also behind the flooring for Danny Boyle’s incredible Opening Ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics.
It was very useful to gain an insight into the challenges that the company and wider industry are facing, including the impact of the recent imposition of US tariffs as well as difficulty gaining support for exports from the Department for Business and Trade.
