NHS

A very productive meeting with North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust CEO Hannah Coffey. Really important to get an understanding of the challenges facing the NHS and the proposed rebuild of Hinchingbrooke hospital. As one of five hospitals absorbed into the New Hospitals Programme owing to its extensive RAAC issues it is vital that the funding already allocated to the project is used to rebuild the hospital.

It was fantastic to catch an early glimpse of the new theatre block, due to open later this year, which is looking very impressive. The block will form part of the new hospital.
